The ITC Node today is a complex learning space in the process of initiation, of a multidisciplinary nature that seeks to encourage deep reflection, within its lines of work using academic spaces for its continuous growth.

As a vision of the ITC node, it is intended to constitute a transdisciplinary research platform that allows the academic projection of Venezuela through the dissemination of knowledge as an integration point, using scientific thoughts in a productive way, immersed in the principles of innovation, responsibility , teamwork, commitment, organization, collaboration, quality, validity and, prospective.

That is why the ITC Node 2019-I action plan, under the line of action that seeks to create a permanent learning space for reflection, innovation and collaborative work, of quality, with a prospective vision. Set the following goals:

​

  1. Publicize the Research, Transcomplexity and Sciences node, in which the activities carried out were Communications to universities, and institutions where the members of the Node carry out tasks

  2. Produce scientific materials and,

  3. Disseminate the elaborated academic production.

 

It is within the framework of objective 3, the creation of the ITC Magazine (Research, Transcomplexity and Science) is established; forming work teams with the members of the ITC Node who were in charge of generating the parameters, guidelines and design.

Responsibilities and Ethical Commitments

The responsibility and ethical commitment of the ITC Magazine has three moments: authors, peer reviewers and Editorial Committee. The moments are developed starting from the moment in which the authors of the articles authorize the Editorial Committee to carry out the evaluation of their works through peer reviewers or referees who validate their writings, until they reach the final consumer: the readers.

In this sense, each edition and publication of academic articles in the ITC Magazine is presented under the following criteria of responsibilities and commitments:

Commitment of the Editorial Committee to the Magazine

​

  • It is responsible for everything that is published.

  • Accept or reject articles for publication.

  • It guarantees the confidentiality of the evaluation of the articles received.

  • Informs the authors of the acceptance of the articles received: without observations, with observations, or the rejection of the article duly justified.

  • Receive the items without any discrimination.

  • You are responsible for not disclosing the text of the material received.

  • It guarantees that the writing of the articles is not used for any purpose other than their publication in the ITC Magazine.

  • Inform the authors of any conflict of interest that occurs with the text (regarding the reliability and originality of the content) or direct relationship with referees or editors.

  • Post corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when necessary.

 

Authors' Commitment to the Magazine

  • Guarantee that the work presented is the result of your research work.

  • Stick to the standards established by the journal's Editorial Committee for the evaluation and publication of scientific articles.

  • Be aware that the work presented in the magazine will only be published by ITC Magazine, otherwise it will be considered with unethical behavior and may be sanctioned.

  • All articles sent to the magazine must present in the Sources Consulted, all the references presented throughout the document.

  • If the author should observe errors in the publication of his article, he must write to the Editorial Committee to solve it.

  • Submit with your letter the Letter of Declaration of Authorship or Originality; You can download it at the following link, Download .

  • At the time of submitting your article, you are accepting the decision of the Editorial Committee to evaluate the document in double blind pairs.

  • Respect the decision of the Arbitration Committee.

  • Comply with the period of 30 days for the correction of articles based on the suggestions made by the arbitrators, if approved with observations.

  • Accept the outright rejection of the publication if any ethical fault as an author is detected: plagiarism, collusion, information bias, falsification of data and invention of authorship.

  • Inform the Editor about any conflict of interest that occurs with the text (regarding the reliability and originality of the content) or with the staff (direct relationship with referees or editors).

 

Commitment of the Peer Reviewers or Referees to the Magazine

  • Report any hint of irregularity in the preparation of the article they evaluate.

  • Know precisely the evaluation criteria of the articles.

  • Consider any article received for evaluation as a confidential document.

  • Avoid personal criticism of the author.

  • Meet the deadlines established by the magazine, in the review process.

 

Good Practice Statement

This section refers to the obligation of writers to respect the copyright established in the Universal Copyright Convention revised by UNESCO (1971), and which governs the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (1999); the Copyright Law, according to Official Gazette No. 4,638 Extraordinary (1993); Organic Law of Administrative Procedure according to, Official Gazette No. 2,818 Extraordinary (1981); Organic Law of Science and Technology and Innovation (LOCTI-2010), LOCTI Contribution Regulation (2010); among others of a secondary nature.

In this sense, the author should avoid:

  • Misusing secondary citations, plagiarizing or altering information, which may lead to the omission of the intellectual author, even altering results, is his duty to identify the source.
